About Marden Yard

Built on
public records.

Every building permit is a signal: who is building, what, where, and for how much. Cities publish those signals every day, scattered across portals with different fields, formats and gaps. Marden Yard collects them, cleans them, and says plainly what each record does and does not tell you.

The first product

Permit Digest.

Permit Digest pulls permit filings from city open-data portals each morning, standardizes addresses, labels the trade, and groups contractor name variants into one business. It is available as a feed on this site, a daily email digest, a JSON API and an MCP server for AI agents. See coverage for the cities we read and pricing for plans.

How we treat the data

Raw beside cleaned.

Values are what the applicant declared to the city, not prices or appraisals. Anything we infer, such as a trade label or a contractor grouping, is marked as derived, and the raw value is kept beside it so you can check our work. Homeowner names and personal phone numbers are removed before anything is stored. The privacy policy has the detail.
